An Axehind is an animal native to Roshar.[1]
They are lean, four legged grazing animals. They leap on their hind legs with their two clawed forelegs pulled in close to the body. They are easily startled prey animals, eaten by humans. They have barely any shell on them, which is unusual for a Rosharian animal. Their habitat includes Tashikk, but is otherwise unknown. Lift finds them tasty to eat.[1]
Axehinds appear to be a Rosharan analogue of deer, in the same way axehounds are analogues of dogs.[1]
