Axehind
World of Origin Roshar

An Axehind is an animal native to Roshar.[1]

They are lean, four legged grazing animals. They leap on their hind legs with their two clawed forelegs pulled in close to the body. They are easily startled prey animals, eaten by humans. They have barely any shell on them, which is unusual for a Rosharian animal. It is unknown where they live, other than the fact that their habitat includes Tashikk. Lift finds them tasty to eat.

They are a Rosharan analogue of deer, in the same way axehounds are analogues of dogs.[citation needed]
