Avado is a non-Alethi merchant on Roshar.[1]
Shortly after King Gavilar's assassination, Avado notices Szeth standing by the side of the road, and inquires about the Shin man. Szeth is then forced to give the Oathstone to Avado. Avado and Szeth leave Alethkar for Jah Keved as Avado feared possible Alethi retributions against foreigners in the wake of Gavilar's death.
