Alaward is a member of Kholinar Wall Guard, and is a part of Noro's squad, Platoon Seven, Squad Two.[1][2]
Appearance and Personality
Kaladin describes Alaward as a heavyset man.[1] Although his eyes are light, Alaward is of the tenth dahn, the lowest rank of lighteyes. He views 'middlers', lighteyes who are above the eight dahn, but aren't quite highlords, as useless. During a patrol, he insults Adolin, who was disguised as a middler, saying that middlers were, "Useless for anything but giving bad orders and eating twice as much food as an honest man,".[1]
