The Unclaimed Hills were part of the Frostlands bordering Alethkar to the east.[1]

Gavilar made an expedition to the Unclaimed Hills. The expedition encountered the Parshendi. This encounter lead to their discovery of chasmfiends, the source of the Parshendi's gems.[2] The Shattered Plains were in the Unclaimed Hills.[3]
