The Kholin family were the founders and rulers of the kingdom of Alethkar on Roshar.

History

Gavilar and Dalinar Kholin lead a conquest against the other Highprinces of Alethkar, eventually consolidating the whole nation into a kingdom, using Kholinar as the base of their power.

Gavilar took the crown, and married Navani, siring Elhokar and Jasnah. Dalinar sired Adolin and Renarin with his wife.

After Gavilar's assassination, Elhokar succeeded the throne.
