The Kholin family were the founders and rulers of the kingdom of Alethkar on Roshar.
History
Gavilar and Dalinar Kholin lead a conquest against the other Highprinces of Alethkar, eventually consolidating the whole nation into a kingdom, using Kholinar as the base of their power.[citation needed]
Gavilar took the crown, and married Navani, siring Elhokar and Jasnah. Dalinar sired Adolin and Renarin with his wife.
After Gavilar's assassination, Elhokar succeeded the throne.
