Template:Flora & Fauna Backbreaker powder is a tasteless, very lethal poison on Roshar.[1] It has an antidote capable of removing all the symptoms. The poison, once ingested, kills the person in mere seconds unless the antidote is taken.[2]

When dusted over bread, it can be disguised as flour.[1]

Ardent Kabsal, a member of the Ghostbloods, tried to assassinate Jasnah Kholin with the backbreaker powder, but Jasnah was able to avoid ingesting the poison with her Soulcasting abilities. Kabsal's plan went awry, and instead of Jasnah, he poisoned himself and Shallan Davar. Jasnah saved Shallan, but Kabsal died.[2]
