Wealdsig is the reeve of Wellbury, one of two reeve's in the lands ruled by the earl Alwin.[1] To prove his devotion to Woden, Wealdsig once nailed himself to a tree, hoping to draw strength from it. He was unsuccessful and his right hand became useless, but gained the respect of his people.[2] Ulric Stromfin claimed Wealdsig was working for him, and took Wyrm their after taking him captive in Stenford.[3]
