Editing and the Time Machine[edit]

Welcome to the Coppermind, Permatemp! I saw your edit to Taravangian's page and wanted to give you a head's up about how the Time Machine interacts with editing, since it looks like it may have caused you some issues there. Basically, if you go to edit a page while the Time Machine is active, the site will load the old version of the article that the Time Machine was showing you in the edit window. As a result, when you make your edit, it will revert the article back to that old version (with any additional changes you've made, of course). For example, looking at the information for just your edit, you can see it removed a bunch of unrelated stuff from the article, but if we compare your edit against how the page looked before Dawnshard, the only thing changed would indeed be the typo you were trying to fix. No worries about this—plenty of people have made this mistake before and it's easy enough to fix—I just wanted to let you know. Feel free to reach out or join our Discord if you have any questions about editing!
