No mention of the possibility that the claimed visions were true visions brought by the Stormfather and people then making a mess of things? No mention of the hypocritical evaluation of the hierocracy? For example that the highest authority were supposedly the priests who claimed their authority came from the almighty which is exactly the same today just with the priest replaced by lighteyes. Another one would be that the Hierocracy obfuscated the beliefs of the church behind mysticism, wile today every ardent is supposed to find his own explanations and way (obfuscating any consolidated beliefs that might once have existed). In essence, the Hierocracy was a purely governmental failure and all religious aspects were (quite possibly) justified or not different from today in any meaningful way.

:The possibility that the claimed visions were real ones from the Stormfather seems like undue speculation to me. As for the rest, I see the argument you're making, but I don't think it's really the place of the Coppermind to insert additional commentary like that when it isn't present in the text. --Stargazer (talk) 15:51, 1 April 2022 (UTC)

Stormlight 4

Is there new info from Rhythm of War that needs to be added?

General

141.70.45.8 14:04, 1 April 2022 (UTC)

The possibility that the claimed visions were real ones from the Stormfather seems like undue speculation to me. As for the rest, I see the argument you're making, but I don't think it's really the place of the Coppermind to insert additional commentary like that when it isn't present in the text. --Stargazer (talk) 15:51, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
