Outside of the visions, the Stormfather is capable of communicating through dreams.{{book ref|sa2|32}} Those dreams usually take place in a blank space that seems outside of time and space.{{book ref|sa3|4}} People experiencing them feel as though everything around them fades away, replaced by solid ground and wind that seems to stop in place.{{book ref|sa3|31}} Unlike the visions, the dreams seem to take up no time at all in the real world.{{book ref|sa3|16}}
