Scadrial is a world of the cosmere and is the setting of the Mistborn trilogy. Its entire ecosystem was rewritten as a result of the Lord Ruler's assumption of the power at the Well of Ascension, creating the ashmounts and altering the biology of the planet to deal with the constantly falling ash.
