Myrddin or Merlin as John West calls him, is a man who knows things that others consider strange or dangerous. John refers to him when trying to explain to Sefawynn that he is a wizard or wise man. He is likely Waelish, as Sefawynn thinks John is Waelish for claiming to be like him.
