At some point in the year following [[Ruin]]'s release, Goradel was promoted to a captain in Elend's army. He accompanied [[Sazed]], [[Breeze]] and [[Allrianne]] to Urteau. He attempted to deliver [[Spook's note]] to Vin, but was killed in the process by Marsh.{{book ref|mb3|69}}
