Evensong has a police force. Orson Ansed is a captain on it and [[Ken Harris]] is a relatively new officer. Evensong also has a research facility for the [[Phone Company]]. [[Denise Carlson]] was a researcher there before she disappeared.
In the age of the Skyward series it is the [[Superiority]]'s main hub of [[taynix]], specifically commslugs. It is also the site of a gargantuan battle at the climax of [[Defiant]].
