As a Lifeless, Arsteel cannot be detected through the innate Lifesense that all sentient beings with breath possess. This makes them well suited to stealth missions. Clod is more self-aware than most lifeless. This is an effect of Breaths that Vasher gave him before killing him.{{wob ref|4635}}
