Aimia is an island chain that consists of one large island and numerous smaller islands situated off the west coast of [[Shinovar]]. It is bordered on the east by the Aimian Sea and on the west by the [[Endless Ocean]].{{map ref|Roshar}} At least some of the islands had undersea caverns.{{epigraph ref|sa3|63}} Aimia is subject to [[highstorm]]s.{{wob ref|7328}} One of the smaller islands at the north end of the chain is called [[Akinah]].{{book ref|sa3|i|4}}
