David Charleston is a member of the Reckoners on Earth.

After his father is killed by Steelheart (on the Day of Annexation, he begins researching Epics and their weaknesses. He designs a plan to kill Steelheart, and is eventually recruited by the Reckoners. They successfully lead a plan which results in the destruction of Steelheart's government and the eventual death of Steelheart himself.[2]
