Ben McSweeney or Inkthinker is an illustrator and animator involved in a number of Brandon Sanderson's works.

He illustrated Shallan's portfolio in the Way of Kings, and he created concept art which ultimately led to the Shattered Plains to be moved from Yolen to Roshar. He also created the broadsheet for The Alloy of Law as well as the map and interior illustrations in The Rithmatist. He is currently working on Shallan's pages for Words of Radiance.^{[citation needed]}
