T'Telir lies on the shores of the [[Bright Sea]],{{book ref|wb|4}} and because of its location in a sheltered bay, T'Telir is a prime port. The T'Telirite docks are made up of the shipyards, a number of warehouses and the dock slums.{{book ref|wb|54}} These slums are located between the shipyards and the warehouses.
