The '''Long Plank Faction''' is a group of pirates in the [[belt]] of the [[nowhere]].{{book ref|sky3|37}} They attend the arena duel between [[Spensa Nightshade|Spensa]] and [[Hesho|Darkshadow]], and agree to join in [[Peg]]'s proposed combined assault on [[Surehold]]. They participate in the attack, winning the battle and helping take control of the facility.
