Star's End is a short science-fiction novel dealing with alien-relations. He stated in episode 79 of Intentionally Blank that it was about a team of scientists on a space station trying to absorb the energy from a supernova, inspired by his interest in the topic. There was also a murder mystery on the station, and he hinted it had a "spren-like being" before he actually made what we now know as spren. It is the second novel Brandon Sanderson wrote. It is unlikely that it will ever be published.[1]
