When the [[National Assembly]] tried to reach a truce with the [[Superiority]], a delegation of politicians set out to meet with the Superiority and brought a box of the DDF pilots' taynix with them. [[FM]] listed Waffle as one of the taynix she thought might have been taken, suggesting to [[Alanik]] and [[Jorgen]] that they could try [[hyperjump]]ing to Waffle to reach the Superiority ship.{{book ref|sf2|22}}
