The Vorin creation story places mankind's origins at the Tranquiline Halls, a paradise from which they were forced off by the [[Voidbringers]], wicked creatures forged in [[Damnation]]. The Voidbringers followed humanity to Roshar trying to destroy it or force humanity off it and into Damnation. Mankind, led by the Heralds and their [[Knights Radiant|chosen knights]], fought them off ninety nine times in what are known as [[Desolation]]s. Finally in [[Aharietiam]], the Last Desolation, the Voidbringers were defeated and cast back into the Tranquiline Halls.
