PEM or Prometheus Enhancement Module is a type of Epic based technology created by Athena.

PEM's are artificial Transference device that grants Epic powers to humans. It is used by the Pantheon.

A PEM is implanted into a persons body and is powered by a Serum of synthetically replicated Epic DNA.

Each PEM can replicate a single Epic power, and a human can only possess 6 PEM's. The Serum for each PEM only lasts 48 hours.
