Overview of Bonds
A Bond is between Invested creatures and Physical creatures. They grant abilities to both members most often greater intelligence to one or both members of the bond.
Bonds By Shard World
Roshar Bonds
The Nahel bond: The bond between a human and a Spren grants Surgebinding to the human while granting intelligence to the Spren. There are ten forms the bonds can take. See Surgebinding and Nahel Bond for more information.
Listener Bond: The Listeners can bond a with Spren and this grants the listeners a form. Not all Spren grant a new form most Spren give the listeners Dull form. Listeners can not become surgebinders But forms of power exist that grant abnormal ability to the listeners. See Listener for more information on forms.
Shard blade: Shardblades in there dead form are able to bond with people through the use of charged gem stones. A gem is placed in the hilt of the blade and after a week the blade is bonded and can be dismissed and called back. Once bonded the blade is bonded it can be dismissed and reformed by syncing with the users heart to the blade, ten heart beats are required. The person who bonds a blade has the iris of their eye lighten during the bonding process. Surgebinding is not granted by this bond
Void bonds: Nothing is known at this time about Voidbinding.
Other Spren bonds: Certain spren bond with native life on Roshar enhancing them and granting ability to the animals. Confirmed animals to have these bonds are Chasm Fiends, chull and Sky eels.
Sel Bonds
Seons: A Seon is able to bond with a person. little is know of this bond other than the seon follows and helps the person it is bonded too. This bond grants new unknown powers to the members of the bond while on Roshar. [1] [2]
First of the Sun Bonds
Aviar: Aviar form bonds with people and grant a specific power Based of the type of Aviar bonded. Aviar are granted their ability if raised on one of the pantheon islands and consume a worm native to the island. See Aviar for more information. Has no known effect on Roshar.
Nalthis Bonds
Breath Awakened Swords: Nightblood is a sentient sword made using 1000 breath and the command to destroy evil. It makes a bond with anyone it wishes to communicate with and is able to read their minds and speak directly into their mind.[3] Distance appears to be a factor but this may be a limitation of the mind of Nightblood and not its ability. Any one who is able to wield Nightblood and survive Bond's with the blade to a greater degree and is no longer repelled by or abnormally drawn to kill with it.Template:Annotation ref This bond grants new unknown powers to the members of the bond while on Roshar.[citation needed]

The effect of bonds while on Roshar
Some bonds from other shardworlds are able to grant unknown abilities to the members of the bond similar to but not the same as Surgebinding while on Roshar.
