Talk:Cinder King

Is there a shorthand word for "people of Canticle" and "Natives of Canticle" and other similar phrases. Like Canticlan or Canticles. The same way one might say Italian to refer to "A person from Italy".

if so it would make the attributes and abilities sentences flow much nicer. It would also probably affect numerous other Sunlight Man pages.

I cannot find a designation like that anywhere in the text. Typically we like to avoid making things like that up if it's not canonized somewhere, so although it's wordy, I'd suggest just sticking to referring to them as the people (or residents, inhabitants, or natives) of Canticle. One thought on how to make the attributes and abilities section flow more nicely is to take the first two sentences and have them read something more like "The Cinder King can take Investiture, called heat by the locals, from other people of Canticle through physical contact. This ability is common to everyone with sufficient Connection to the planet, but he can do this more powerfully than others and can quickly kill the person he touches." -- Truthwatch3r (talk) 18:14, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
