'''Spook''' was a skaa Misting on [[Scadrial]] in the [[Final Empire]] and worked in [[Kelsier's crew]]. His original name was '''Jedal''', after his father,{{ref|?|727|67|Jedal. After his father.}} but went by '''Lestibournes''' before [[Kelsier]] gave him his nickname of Spook. The name Lestibournes is a reference to the Eastern street slang phrase, 'lefting I'm born', which means 'I've been abandoned'. He was a [[Tin]]eye, and was [[Clubs]]' nephew.{{ref|b|mb1|c|6}}

During the skaa rebellion Spook was mainly involved as a sentry or lookout for the crews hideout. He participated in the crews planning sessions but rarely contributed to them. He became infatuated with [[Vin]] and tried to court her, however she did not reciprocate his feelings and instead became romantically involved with [[Elend]].

The rest of Kelsiers crew asked Spook to help them lead Elend and Vin away from Luthadel so that they would not be killed from the [[Siege of Luthadel|siege]], he led them away to the Terris mountains under the pretense of showing Vin to the [[Well of Ascension]] however Vin and Elend eventually realised that they had been tricked and Vin was able to return and save Luthadel.

During his stay at [[Urteau]], he became an [[Allomancy|Allomantic]] savant, burning tin all the time, to spy on [[Quellion]] and [[Beldre]].{{ref|b|mb3|c|14}} He was corrupted by [[Ruin]] with a [[Hemalurgy|Hemalurgic]] spike granting him [[Pewter|Thug]] abilities which caused him to have visions of [[Kelsier]]. He was later called the '''Survivor of the Flames'''.{{ref|b|mb3|38}} He eventually realised this and pulled the spike out of himself.{{ref|b|mb3|c|58}}

After the [[Final Ascension]] he lead the survivors into the ''new world'' created by [[Sazed]] and was given the full powers of a [[Allomancy#Mistborn|Mistborn]].{{ref|b|mb3|epilogue}} However, he was not the strength of a [[lerasium]] Mistborn, but a Mistborn of the strength at the end of the Final Empire. Sazed also healed the damage Spook had done to himself by becoming a tin Savant.

Spook was referred to as the '''Lord Mistborn'''. It is not clear what his role in that early government was, but he was clearly very prominent and powerful, judging by him changing Eastern street slang into [[High Imperial]].
