Silver is [[Allomancy|Allomantically]] inert.{{ref|name=a-mb3-60}} It may have interesting properties, but on Scadrial they are largely undiscovered.{{wob ref|11892}}
To clarify what is meant by inert in this case, silver does not produce any effect when one attempts to burn it. It can be pushed or pulled on though. This is shown in chapter two of Shadows of Self when Wax pushes off of some silver.
