The '''Shinovar''' (Otherwise known as the '''Shin''') are a race of humans on the world of [[Roshar]], currently featured within [[The Stormlight Archive]]. The Shin live far to the west, beyond mountains that break the torrent of the raging [[Roshar#Highstorms|Highstorm]]s. Because of this, the part of the world the Shinovar live in is a vastly different place, as the creatures there have not the need to adapting to survival in the highstorms. The land they live in has been described as "Slow" or "sluggish" compared to the rest of Roshar.▼
