Sazed was appointed to coach [[Vin]] to play the part of Valette Renoux, a noblewoman. He saw that her hair, makeup, and dressingclothing were appropriate, accompanied her to the balls and guided her as much as possible. Sazed did not initially trust [[Elend]] in the beginning.{{book ref|mb1|18}} Thoughbut later, he agreed ofchanged beinghis wrongmind and believed him a good man.{{book ref|mb2|23}} He supported Elend with the law creation and was very vocal on his being a good man, good king and doing the right thing.{{book ref|mb2|45}}.
