Rua appears to Lopen as a ribbon of light, a young boy of nine or ten years and as a young man. One of his favouritefavorite forms is a flying chull with broad wings.{{book ref|sa3.5|3}} Lopen calls him Naconaco. He likes to play hide-and-seek with Lopen, whose carefree attitude meshes well with the spren. He is mischievous like a [[windspren]]. Rua is never seen interacting with Syl, butbelieves theyRua obviouslyto know each other as she thinks of him asbe the only other Honorsprenhonorspren like her, curious and mischievous like a windspren., indicating that they likely know each other in some capacity.{{book ref|sa4|I|1}}
