Difference between revisions of "Rayse"

Though there has been no direct confirmation of which [[shard]] Rayse holds, it is widely believed that he is [[Odium]].

Much of the speculation comes from the Part Two [[epigraphs]] of [[The Way of Kings]], in which the author of the [[epigraphs]] states that Rayse, before taking a shard, was "one of the most loathsome, crafty, and dangerous individuals I had ever met." These epigraphs also state, "He holds the most frightening and terrible of all of the Shards." This, combined with the [[Almighty]]'s revelation at the end of [[The Way of Kings]] that [[Odium]] is responsible for his death and the part two epigraph implying that Rayse killed [[Aona]] and [[Skai]], two other Shardholders from [[Sel]], form the core of this theory.
