During the lead-up to Battalionlord [[Teofil]]'s push to recapture the crystal pillar room after the [[singer]] invasion of [[Urithiru]], [[Shuanor]] and [[Gavri]] were ordered to have their forces retreat from the upper floors of the tower. Radathavian, who was one of the officers present in the map room that served as a temporary command center, was charged with taking command of some of their troops to form a harrying force that could cover the retreat.{{book ref|sa4|40}}
