: After visiting the Nightwatcher, Darlinar lost all memory of his wife. Additionally, when someone mentions her name, all that he hears is "[[Brightness Kholin|''Shshshsh'']]". It is unclear whether this effect is a result of Dalinar's boon or his curse. Dalinar keeps his request, boon, and curse very private private, and very few people know of his visit to the Nightwatcher.
