Melishi was bonded to the [[Sibling]],{{book ref|sa4|42}} which allowed him to use the [[Surge]]s of [[Tension]] and [[Adhesion]].{{book ref|sa2|part=ars}} Because he is only known through historical texts, the exact nature and extent of his abilities are unknown, but he can presumably utilize the Surges similarly to others of his Order. For example, the [[Stormfather]] says that Melishi was able to see the Connections between people as Dalinar does. {{book ref|sa4|66}}
