Kress is a planet in the Empire of Firstborn.[1] It is a sparsely inhabited world, near the border of the Empire's Reaches. Its weather was unregulated, and the wind blew strongly. It had green grass up to a person's knees.
A meeting between Varion Crestmar and the imperial navy was staged there.
