== Plot ==
Kalak survived one of the [[Desolation]]s and thought of the place where the Heralds go when they die or a Desolation has ended. He met with [[Jezrien]] at the meeting place of all the surviving Heralds.
He thought that its unusual that nine of the ten Heralds have survived, and told Jezrien that he cannot go back to the place in between Desolations. Jezrien agreed and declares the [[Oathpact]] ended.▼
