During the [[Battle of Hathsin]], Haddek helped [[Sazed]] learn of the original [[Terris prophecies]] and so aided in his discovery of the intentions of [[Ruin]]. However, once it became clear that Ruin had begun to influence the kandra he declared that the [[Resolution]] had come, prompting most of the kandra to remove their blessings.{{book ref|b|mb3|c|79}}
