He was introduced to [[Kaladin]] by [[Moash]] who had ties with him before Moash was made a bridgeman. Graves works for [[Taravangian]] and was sent to assassinate King [[Elhokar]] and make sure Kaladin was distracted and unable to protect [[Dalinar]] from [[Szeth]]. He has a set of Shards (Plates and Sword) and has [[Danlan]] in his retinue.
It is mentioned by [[Moash]] that Graves is an excellent shot with a bow and arrow.{{book ref|sa2|68}}
