They were one of the soldiers who caught [[Dabbid]] attempting to sneak one of the [[Sibling]]'s [[spanreed]]s into [[Navani]]'s workstation.{{book ref|sa4|37}}
== History ==
[[Navani]] asked Chananar to secretly watch her workstation. [[Navani]] had set the workstation as a bait for whoever was sending her secret [[spanreed]] messages. [[Dabbid]] took the bait and tried to replace [[Navani]]'s lost spanreed. Chananar observed [[Dabbid]] doing that and along with other soldiers caught him in the act. Chananar then took the [[spanreed]] fabrial from [[Dabbid]] and gave it to [[Navani]].{{book ref|sa4|37}}
