When Blushweaver Returns, she is given a seat on the council of social ills, where she weekly participates in important votes.{{book ref|b|warbreaker|c|30}} She later promises to vote however [[Hopefinder]], another Returned, wishes. In exchange, he gives her the security phrase to his portion of the [[Lifeless]] army.{{book ref|b|warbreaker|c|30}} She also manages to convince [[Mercystar]] to give up her Lifeless troops as well.
 
Blushweaver is kidnapped and forced to give up her Lifeless security phrase during the [[Pahn Kahl rebellion]]. The false priests later slit her throat to show [[Lightsong]] how willing to kill they are.{{book ref|b|warbreaker|c|53}}
