As part of their training, [[Skyward Flight]] paired with the scouts during a [[varvax|Krell]] battle to gain experience in scouting. Blaze was in charge of giving the cadets instructions on the best way to spot enemy ships, as well as outlining some of tactics often used by the Krell.{{book ref|Skyward|41}}
