[[Hoid]], in [[the Letter]] holds a grudge against both Bavadin and [[Rayse]] for unknown, but similar,{{wob ref|10630}} reasons. It is speculated that Bavadin and Rayse are partners, though nothing is confirmed. She was apparently of help to him in Splintering the Shards of Dominion and Devotion,{{wob ref|2614}} but the extent of this assistance and whether it was voluntary is not yet known.
