==Appearance and Personality==
Ashlv worked on the [[Wind's Pleasure]] with Tozbek and half a dozen other sailors.{{ref|b|sa1|c|3}} She performed duties such as registering the ship when it made port. [[Shallan Davar]] made a sketch of Ashlv and gave it to Tozbek to hang in his cabin. When the sailors had flirted with Shallan and embarrassed her, Ashlv had told them off.
Ashlv is a small woman with long white Thaylen eyebrows that she wears curled down to her cheeks. She is seen wearing a headscarf and a bright yellow blouse and skirt while aboard the ship.{{book ref|sa2|1}}
