'''Adien''' is a character from the novel [[Elantris]].
He is the younger brother of [[Lukel]].
Adien instinctively knows the distance from one place to another, through the length of his stride. Throughout his life, people believed him simple in the head due to his constant mumblings of distance. Although he was always aware of what was going on around him, he was never able to communicate back until [[Raoden]] fixed the [[Aon]]s, and he became a true Elantian.
