She goes inside, and sees a boy who has some sort of mental disability get left there. She muses on the discrepancy between what people think of orphanages as and what they really are. She gets some food, an meets a [[Sleepless]].

It is run by [[Stump|the Stump]], and was originally used for her money laundering schemes{{book ref|Edgedancer|14}}. She is a [[Knight Radiant]] and needs [[Stormlight]] to fuel herself. As a result, she needs fulled [[spheres]], and thus runs the money laundering where she trades her dun spheres for full spheres of slightly lesser value.
