Uses

I believe that Shadesmar can be visited by those using a fabrial. Also I doubt that its guarded by the "truthspren". Those spren are tied to the Knight radiant orders, but not everyone who can use the abilities has them for example Szeth, also Shallan didnt tried to access it directly, but called the creatures, thus its a speculation that they "guard" it --Anon

Hey there, interesting ideas. You should probably post them on the forums, it's more likely to spark discussion over there. A: I am pretty sure that Shadesmar is not a Rosharan local term, and that people who are “in the know” from all over the Cosmere use it.
Q: One thing I'm still confused about: Is Shadesmar the whole Cognitive Realm or just a part of it?
A: As far as I know, the whole Cognitive Realm can be called Shadesmar.”
