Re-Shephir

Has anyone thought that Midnight Essence is probably the monsters that Re-Shephir, the Midnight Mother, gives birth to? Is this important enough to write down somewhere? Sorry, I don't really know where to put tiny thoughts like that on this wiki. -- Anon

Spren

Are we Calling these Spren because they don't really fit the one thing that makes Spren unique, I mean Dalinar kills one with a metal poker so there not really a cognitive entity. -- User: Arook 2017-12-13

Living Night

So I haven't read AoN but apparently there is a substance controlled by aetherbound of Night called "Living Night" capitalized. Midnight Essence in Dalinar's vision is also described as "living night" uncapitalized. There is theory that this is the same material. Is that something we can add here? Firesong is slightly incorrect, it's not Brandon's policy that we don't keep information off the Aether of Night page. That's not quite accurate. This is a 17S policy on uncanonical stuff, though AoN is a bit of a weird situation. It could be mentioned on the Aether of Night page, but remember to not include Help:Speculation in general, so I don't know this qualifies. Personally, I would not spend effort putting that stuff on the AoN page. I actually like how it focuses on the meta stuff and not the contents of the book much at all; I don't think this theory fits well regardless of Speculation of it. -- Chaos2651 (talk) 07:59, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
